Q: I suddenly have something to go to nearby, can I contact you on the day and see the shop?

​A: We produce at our workshop on weekdays and every other Saturday, so it is almost possible to visit our shop on the same day. Please call us. However, if the representative is not available due to delivery or a meeting, our staff will guide you. It will go smoothly if you call us before coming to the store. 

Q: Where is the nearest station? Please tell me how to get there by public transportation. ​A: JR / Keihan / Subway / Rokujizo Station. Rokujizo Station is an 11-minute rapid train ride from JR Kyoto Station. There is no bus from Rokujizo Station to Sumiyama. Please take a taxi. 5.5km 13 minutes to Asakura Mokko (approx. 2,000 yen to 2,600 yen) ●On some days, we may be able to drop you off at the station on your way home. Please inquire at the time of reservation. Taxi information below ●There is a taxi waiting rotary right in front of Rokujizo Station on the JR/Subway Tozai Line. ●There is also a taxi rotary at "Keihan Rokujizo Station​" (5 minutes walk from JR Rokujizo Station). 6.1km 17 minutes. Q: Are there any cafes or lunch restaurants nearby? ​A: Yes. Shops that deliver furniture from Asakura Mokkou, 1 minute drive from cafe ``Kigyusha'', 13 minutes from ``Curry Design Office'', 16 minutes from ``Minna no Cafe Guriguri'', 16 minutes from ``Roba Uji'', 36 minutes from ``Minami'' Zenji Junsho” and others ●2 minutes by car "Kigyusha Cafe & Lunch" We have delivered some of Asakura Mokko's wiped lacquer corner-cut trays. Open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (no fixed holidays). 20 seats. 5 parking spaces available. ●13 minutes by car (closest Obaku Station) ``Curry Design Office'' A curry restaurant in a renovated old house with tatami seating. Deliver stools to the counter. Reservations for lunch are guaranteed. Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays. 20 seats. 4 parking spaces available. ●16 minutes by car (nearest Obaku Station) ``Everyone's Café Guriguri'' O-chair, toe-chair, and corner and round tables were delivered. Daily lunch and curry. You can take it home. 10 seats. Day off. There are 3 parking spaces. ●16 minutes by car (nearest Uji Station) "LovA Uji" Old folk house, seasonal cuisine and tempura. Delivered a table with central legs carved from keyaki wood. 28 seats available. Q: In addition to restaurants, are there any detour spots you recommend for everyone to stop by? ​A: Yes. Byodo-in Temple, Daigo-ji Temple, Tamaki-tei (a popular bakery), and Sumiyama are areas with many pottery workshops. Q: Is it possible for woodworking students to tour the showroom and workshop?

​A: Yes. Woodworkers and students come to our store on open days (almost every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 17:00). Please let us know that you are a student. Please contact us regarding tour schedules for school-related groups.
