■ Chestnut colorIt reacts with the tannins in the chestnut tree to create an old-fashioned finish that looks like it has been around for a long time. Rather than coloring, it is dyed by reaction, so it cannot be washed off. Basically, there is no need to worry because the oil is soaked in, but the oil soaked in can be removed by repeatedly wiping with water.If the dye becomes pale, leaving the egg whites or lemon juice on may cause a reaction that causes the dyed color to fade due to its acidity.

■Wiping lacquer

The wipe-lacquer finish is a finish that allows you to enjoy the grain of the wood while also obtaining the atmosphere of the color of the lacquer and the water resistance of the lacquer.
Lacquer is said to be "the world's strongest paint", but its only weakness is ultraviolet rays. Avoid direct sunlight.
